I have been full of nostalgia recently. I missed my American lover Ryan Barnes because he has been off doing his thing over in America. As I started to miss him, I commented on his facebook, he sent an email, I emailed back he emailed me back (that was a shocker I didnt expect!) and then tonight, literally as I wrote 'I missed my American lover Ryan Barnes' he signed on MSN!! I'm so happy.
But, with the way of life, as one gap is filled, another is created. I think I need to wise up. For some strange reason I had to tell myself 'no, your mother is not going to walk through the door again'. I didn't know why I still thought she will, maybe after these past few years I have never accepted what's happend and I still think I will see my mom again and she's gone just for now. Of course then I was miserably upset with thoughts such as 'she's never going to see me grow up' 'she can't come to any of my plays'...you get the jist. I miss mother.
We're performing King Lear again. Once on Monday for some Americans and then again on Wednesday as part of the 6th form showcase. It's cool, I keep getting put in charge of rehearsals because Mrs. G has to see to the other performances and the year 12s are very unmotivated apparently! It's not fun, cause i have to shout at people to behave when really I just want to laugh with them. But I have to do it because if we don't actually rehearse Mrs G will make me cry.
iTunes - Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon. I'm pretty sure I have blogged to you about this song before. Last time I checked Squid wasn't too sure on the lyrics, I'm sure if he reads this he will correct me. But we did both agree that apart from the lyrics, this song rocks!! Don't get me wrong, I like the lyrics...it's just Squid...lets all give him evils!
ANNOUNCMENT! As Squid is officially part of the blog 'team' (aka Squid and me) here at Chloé's World, I shall have to announce that he has a girlfriend now called Chelsea. Poor girl. Anyway, good luck to her and well done Squid!
I'm bored, so lets quote and get it done with...
"Human history becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe." - H. G. Wells. Good ol' H. G. Wells makes me giggle. With his funny ways of describing things, accurate, but funny. Okay, so it's not funny but it's accurate.
